McCall Bridals

Let’s talk about custom wedding dresses and how you can turn your dream wedding dress into an affordable reality. Very often a bride starts looking for her dream dress online, many of us have used Pinterest when we start planning for our wedding. Pinterest is where you can pin different pictures and ideas of what you are interested in and it is often the first place a bride goes for wedding ideas.

Often brides will send us ideas of their dream dress from their Pinterest boards. They have all their wedding plans saved in a “My Dream Wedding” folder which includes the decorations, flowers, shoes, wedding dress, etc.  Often when a bride finds her dream wedding dress on Pinterest, she either can’t find that dress in a store in real life or they simply can’t afford it and that’s when the bride starts to get frustrated. That’s where My Amazing Wedding Dress steps in and helps the bride bring her dream dress to life at an affordable price!

Let me introduce McCall one of our beautiful brides who we met at a bridal expo last winter. She was looking for somebody who could help bring her dream dress to life. We accepted the challenge!
It took about 10 weeks to create the dress and it turned out even better then we could imagine.

The biggest challenge with the dress was the lace pattern on the top. We started out with a sketch of the design on paper. Once the design was ready, we transferred everything to a tulle fabric via an embroidery machine and started hand beading the top. We used over a thousand beads and sequences which took over 30 days to make it such a unique design.

The dress has a simple A-line chiffon skirt which draws attention to the beauty of the top of the dress.  To give contrast between the layers and to help the top stand out more, we used a nude color Jersey fabric. One of the benefits of  Jersey fabric is that it’s very stretchable and fits more comfortably.  Finally, after 10 weeks, the dress was ready to meet its owner.
